And even prior to its breakage it really did not add much convenience to lugging around a 25lb carseat, anyway. We found on our first trip that this strap is durable but it rolls uncomfortably so that instead of a nice 2" wide flat strap, it is now a 1/2" wide strap that digs into your shoulder very painfully.
